Who we are
Novel Concepts Collective is powered by a small but mighty indie bookstore called Park Books in Severna, Park Maryland. We do our best to be Eco-Conscious in this fast moving, “buy-online-ship-to-home” world that we are living in! By opening our little bookshop in our town, we try and have publishers send us large shipments at a time so that many peoples orders come to us at once, in one box, and then people can walk on over and pick up their books; rather than them have each of their books delivered in many tiny packages on many different trucks coming from the same warehouse all day from the big ole company that starts with an “A”. We think this will help with the events with authors, too!
Our vision
Our vision is to support as many authors as possilble and help to ensure that everywhere they are, their books make it there too. And, that their readers can purchase a quality book from them from an indie bookstore who is working hard to pay fair wages, and practice their busines in a sustainable way.
